Yard Waste Collection Dates

Yard waste collection resumed in Coralville the week of March 26, 2018, with curbside yard waste pickup on your regular trash and recycling collection day. The yard waste collection season lasts until late November, weather permitting.


What to Do with Yard Waste

Place yard waste in a Coralville biodegradable yard waste bag, or place it in a 33-gallon container that has an annual yard waste sticker. There is a 40 pound weight limit per bag / container.


Coralville biodegradable yard waste bags are available for $5 per bundle of five bags, and are sold at Theisen's, Coralville Hy-Vee, and Coralville City Hall. The 2018 annual yard waste stickers are on sale at City Hall for $25 each and are valid through the end of the 2018 yard waste season.


What to Do with Brush & Tree Limbs

Curbside pick up of brush and tree limbs is available during yard waste collection season on your regular trash and recycling day at no charge. Brush and tree limbs must be tied in bundles, with each bundle no greater than 18 inches in diameter. Individual limbs in the bundles should be no larger than 2 inches in diameter and 4 feet long.
